Ross Juniors Sunday turned in an exceptional performance to win 4-1 at Barrels. It was even more remarkable as many regulars were missing and some were playing despite injuries.

Ross were on the front foot from the whistle. They opened the scoring with a well worked team goal in the 2nd minute. Eli Wooding spread the ball wide to Damon Beaumont and he split the defence and picked out Andy Francis who finished smartly. This set the tone as Eli Wooding later went close from a tight angle. The back four of Adam Beaumont, Sam Loftus, Matt Davies and James Colwell were working like Trojans to ensure Dan Morris was well protected. The home side were restricted to long shots, and it wasn't until the 32nd minute that Dan Morris had to be alert as he dived low to keep the ball out.

Superb link up play between Dan Morgan and Ted Loftus set up Eli Wooding in the 42nd minute but his effort was just inches over. The midfield four of Dewi Stuart, Harry Hall, Dan Morgan and Andy Francis were all having superb games as Ross controlled the battle in midfield.
