The Harewood End Agricultural Society held a cricket match at Aston Ingham Cricket Club on Tuesday, July 24th, organised by Mark Savidge and Mark Green.

It was a lovely sunny evening in the picturesque grounds at Stockings Field, where the fathers and mothers took on the sons and daughters.

Umpires were Peter Plumley and Richard Birt and cricket scoring was kept by Bill Wilde.

Unsurprising, the results proved young legs to be more successful with the most notable junior batters (who had to retire having scored 30 runs each) being Jonathan Snell, Gus Carini Roberts and Ted Williams.

The Harewood End Agricultural Society would like to thank the President, Sue Marshall, for a delicious BBQ which added to what was, a most enjoyable evening.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here.
