Nearly 100 players and friends of of Aston Ingham CC celebrated a fantastic season for the club, at The Chase Hotel, Ross-on-Wye on Saturday, November 11th.

The guests, including 24 junior players, sat down to sumptuous three-course meal at 7.30pm. Then the Captains, Dave Lacey and Matt Davies, gave enlightening reports of the 1st and 2nd XI seasons. Both teams finished runners up, in their respective leagues.

Winners of the awards were:-

1st XI , Best Batsman - Jack Carpenter, Best Bowler, Paul O’Neill, with Carpenter taking the All Rounder Award.

In the 2nd XI the batting award was won by Tom Parsons, the bowling award shared by Luke Ward and Phil Aubrey. Ward was the All Rounder.

Best Young Player Award was shared jointly by Ollie Henson and Ollie O’Neill. O’Neill also produced the individual performance of the season, taking 7-26 v Dumbleton 2nds, on June 3rd, a staggering spell of fast bowling that saw him twice on a hat trick, and taking six wickets in seven balls.
