youngsters from Wormelow had the opportunity to learn about cricket for the first time when the cricket club introduced them to AllStars.

All Stars Cricket is a brand-new initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.

Wormelow Cricket Club have been running this programme over the summer for 24 local children who have never experienced cricket before. The hope is that many will continue to develop their cricket skills with WCC over the coming years.

The picture shows the successful AllStars graduation class of 2017 accompanied by Herefordshire Cricket’s Director of Operations, Steve Watkins and AllStar Motivator and Coach, Ross-on-Wye based Robbie Stonadge, all under the watchful eye of Mr AllStar himself, who handed out the graduation certificates.
