Ross RFC Juniors U11 squad, fresh from last weekend's county cup success, hosted Berry Hill RFC at Greytree last Sunday.

A slow start from the blue and whites saw Berry Hill score two tries in quick succession with lovely handling from their backline to give them an early 10-0 lead.

This was enough to spur Ross into action and a magnificent 20m solo effort from second row Ollie Marfell saw him cross the line with half the Berry Hill team on his back. Ross hooker Ollie Cronshaw touched down out wide as did his brother Max but Berry Hill used their strong forwards to break tackles and claim two more tries. Full report in this week's Gazette.
