Howle Hill took all three points with a 9-4 win against Longhope. Hill raced to their first seven goals within 30 minutes of football in the first half, with Hatch scoring four.

Tom Shotton got the ball rolling after five minutes with a powerful finish into the roof of the net. Hatch quickly made it two with a hard low shot with his left foot. He then got his second from a corner which came back to Hatch from Phin Parsons and Hatch swung in a curling shot from the touch line. Shotton got his second from a lovely floated ball from McAfee, which Shotton rose at the back post to head home. Hatch got his first hat trick with a header after Leighton Hall put in a long ball which went over the keeper for Hatch to put it into an empty net.

Hall then turned goal scorer after a Hatch header came back off the post for unmarked Hall to fire home. Hatch scored his fourth with another clinical strike. Longhope finally got back into the game from a free kick.

The second half started with thunder, lightning and heavy rain, which affected Hill's play, Longhope used this to their advantage and scored another goal. Hill struck back quickly with Hatch firing his fifth hard and low. Longhope got their third after keeper Cooke could only parry a shot to their players' feet.

Longhope continued to push and got a fourth with a header. Hatch soon restored the five goal advantage, getting his double hat trick with another shot across the keeper into the corner.

Man of the match was Hatch for his first ever double hat trick which moved Hill up to fourth in the league. Next week Hill are home to Milkwall in the league.
