Goodrich Ladies hosted a very strong Droitwich B team on Sunday, May 28th at Goodrich Tennis Club.

In the first round Wendy and Steph were overpowered by a very strong first pairing of Kate and Margaret Hughes.

Jill and Lesley also lost out in their first rubber, however Kim and Bonnie managed a good win in straight sets against the Droitwich B third pair.

In the second round, Bonnie and Kim were also overpowered by the Hughes family, and Jill and Lesley again lost despite a very good effort. Steph and Wendy produced a fine win against the Droitwich B second pair in straight sets.

The overall result was four rubbers to two in favour of Droitwich B. Goodrich picked up four valuable points though, to keep them mid table.
