Ross 1sts have gone into the Christmas break in second place after a comfortable 22-0 victory last Saturday, December 20th, against Cotham Park.

Ross were in control from the off, they had the edge in the setpiece which put the visitors on the back foot.

To their credit Cotham tried to play their way out of trouble but a steadfast Ross defence refused to let them pass and Ross accumulated points throughout the game.

Fullback Joe Brearly deservedly got the first score. Ross were creating chances, but the final pass too often did not go to hand and it was not until the end of the half that Tom Davies danced through the defence out wide on the right to glide over to score.

This time Huw added the conversion and Ross went into the break 12-0 ahead. Cotham Park continued to play from all parts of the pitch but the Ross defence was too strong and the second half played as the first.
