FORMER Ross Juniors starlet Amelie Curtis has just received her first Wales U15s cap.

The youngster, who now plays at Birmingham City, recently represented the nation in the Bob Docherty Cup which involved England, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Juniors posted: “A very proud moment for the club recently as one of our former junior players, Amelie Curtis received her first international cap for Wales.

“Following on from Aston Villa’s Mary McAteer, Amelie is the second of our former players to receive an international cap.

“She was a fantastic player in our junior set up, helping the club win many honours and trophies.

“Now at Birmingham City we are avidly following her career as she is building a fantastic reputation in the club.

“Amelie will be wearing the Ross shirt again as she plays for one of our summer teams who are away to Swindon Town U15s.”
