It was a bright start to the new year for Ross Girls’ Juniors as the U12 Colts began 2020 with a 7-3 win at home over Tupsley Pumas.

A strong start from the visitors saw Tupsley take the lead early on, but Ross soon pegged them back with two quick-fire goals. From then on it was one-way traffic as Ross stretched their lead before Tupsley responded with a couple of goals towards the end of the match.

The game eventually saw Ross run out comfortable 7-3 winners, with Ross goals coming from Layla (4), Romy (2) and Leah, in what proved to be a thoroughly entertaining match to kick off 2020.
