The Ross Juniors U8 colts continued with their HJFL futsal campaign after a group reshuffle.

First up was a strong Ludlow team who pushed the boys hard but with great pressing and passing the boys got two excellent well worked team goals. They were scored by George and secured the win.

Next up was a another strong side, Ledbury Rovers. This was a very equal contest and both sides played some excellent football.

There were great chances for both teams, and with great saves by Alfie and the Ledbury keeper, the scores stayed at 0-0 until a break from Ledbury resulted in a goal.

The boys battled hard until the final whistle but couldn’t find an equaliser and the match ended 1-0 Ledbury. A spokesperson said: “This was a brilliant performance from the boys and a well matched game which they didn’t deserve to lose.”
