Ross-on-Wye?Juniors U15s battled to victory over North Birmingham Celtic in their first home game of the season.

The Juniors were under pressure as the visitors kept them camped in their own half. Only superb saves from goalkeeper, Josh Ellis and a goal-line clearance from Tommy kept the score at nil-nil.

After 28 minutes, Ross doubled their lead, again through Joel, who beat the keeper to power into the Birmingham net.

A superb long range shot from the visitors beat Josh to make the score 2-1 at half time.

After the restart, Birmingham had most of the play, but a Ross counter-attack saw Joel clean-on goal when he was fouled on the edge of the box. The Birmingham defender was sent off for the challenge and Elliott drove the free-kick into the back of the net making the score 3-1.

Owain, who had a goal disallowed for offside earlier in game, finally scored after a lovely pass from Jordan put him through.

In the last ten minutes Birmingham lost their discipline and had a second player sent off, but in the dying moments scored with another long range shot making the final tally 4-2 to Ross.
