Ross continued with their dominant start to the season with another comprehensive victory in Bristol, taking their points tally after only three games to 200, and conceding just five.
Within ten minutes Ross had three tries in the bag and they secured the fourth try bonus point before the end of the first quarter. The hosts did have their fair share of the ball but they could not break down a determined Ross defence, when the tables were turned and Ross had the ball the movement of both player and the ball was too much for Bristol to deal with and Ross ran in tries at regular intervals, at half time they were 47-0 ahead.
Ross were not so dominant in the second half as the hosts looked to find a way back into the game, but Ross refused to allow the hosts a score and ran in a further four tries of their own. When the referee blew for the final whistle Ross were 71-0 ahead and top of the table after three league games. The tries were shared between Matt King 3 tries, Marcus Barnard 4 tries and one each for Thai Hayward, Johnnie Baynham, Gavin Oates and Louis Morgan.
It was difficult to choose a man of the match as every member of the eighteen man squad did their jobs, however a lot of what Ross did well was sparked from scrum half so the man of the match spoils goes to Marcus Barnard.
On Saturday, October 7th, Ross are at home to fellow unbeaten rivals Broad Plain so come down and lend support to the team.
