Ex-Hereford United mangager, Jamie Pitman and Paul Hughes, ran an excellent two hour session based on small sided games on Thursday, July 23rd, to encourage girls to play football.
The Ross Juniors Football Club provided the venue so that the FA skills team could run the free girls football skills session.
The girls were grouped by age and, after a warm up, they played a lot of football, the small sided pitches meant that every girl had lots of touches on the ball and with 2v2 or 3v3 players on a pitch many goals were scored.
