IT was a high-five for Ross Juniors Girls when their U14s became the fifth to secure a county final next month.

The teens hosted Belmont Wanderers on Sunday in the Herefordshire Cup semi-finals and ran out convincing 9-0 winners.

That means the club has achieved a full house of five finalists at U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16 level.

Meanwhile, the next generation of female coaches were put through their paces at a coaching development session at Ross Sports Centre on Monday night.

Stacey Miles of the Gloucestershire FA and George Leyshon-James from Herefordshire FA took the session, which was attended by more than 30 existing and budding coaches, with a selection of the club’s current players aged 14 and over also attending a getting into coaching workshop.
