The Ross girls started the new season’s campaign with a home victory against a much improved Ledbury side, thanks to a Girl of the Game performance from goalkeeper Catrin, and a brace of goals from Martha.

Ross, last year’s league winning squad, started the game brightly, showing some excellent passing and movement.

Martha, Tegan and Millie M were quicker and sharper than their counterparts and created several chances in the early stages, forcing some good saves from the Ledbury keeper.
