Ross Men’s side played Rank Outsiders Reserves at home on Saturday, and beat them 21 - 0.
Ranks were very poor from the start, and Ross really treated the game as a training match.
In the first half, goals came from Brad Wooding and Toby Alexander, who scored one each, Dave Nicholls, Ben Gardner and Callum McCulloch who both scored two. With assists coming from Brad and even goal-keeper, Wayne Husbands, missing a penalty it was 8 - 0 at half time
In the second half Dave and Ben completed their hatricks, with Ben having his second 25 yard shot go in. Striker Callum Trotman finally got on the score sheet with two goals to his name.
Brad fired in three in quick succession to take his tally to four in the game at that point. Then Jon Woodward, Luke Harris and, even veteran, Shaun Aston managed to chalk up a goal apiece. By this time it was obvious that Ranks did not want to be on the pitch. Brad finished the rout off with another three goals before the referee blew the final whistle.
Golf Sports Bar Man of the Match went to Bradley Wooding with his seven goals and for providing assists all through the game.
This week Ross travel to Lydney to play a league fixture.
