Ross-on-Wye Juniors Men’s Side played home on Saturday, March 26th against Harrow Hill B and won the match 9 - 0. The goals in the first half came from Callum McCulloch, of which Luke Harris found him in the box from a pin pointed cross.

Jack Jennings got the second goal with a wicked deflection off the Hill defender. Harris then had the third with an assist off Liam Parry.

Before half time, Jennings scored again, when the ball was played up field from keeper Bosco Barnett directly to Jennings. At half time the score was 4-0.

Jack Bray’s corner then found Ben Gardner’s header against the bar, but Gardner managed to get the rebound for the second half goals.

After a Harris cross once again Callum Trotman controlled the ball and turned the defender to slot in the bottom corner.

Gardner got his second on the edge of the box after he smashed it goal wards off the under side of the bar. Ross defender Wayne Husbands made a break down the wing for his cross to be turned in by Gardner again to get his hatrick. Kristian Milnes then made it 9 - 0 after a charging run down the left wing, the taking it around the keeper.

The Physio and Health Matters Man of the Match went to Jack Bray, and this Saturday Ross are away to the Gloster Rovers. On Bank Holiday Monday Ross play Weston in the FJ Pope Cup final at Newent FC 4.30pm kick off. Local supporters would be very welcome to go along to cheer on the team.
