Ross Juniors have found new team managers and can now establish establish boys’ Colts teams in the current U8 (year 3) and U9 boys (year 4) age groups.

John Booker will be managing the U8 Colts and Stefan, who currently coaches the boys, will continue to do so and assist John. The aim now is to play friendly games in the new year, enter tournaments in the spring and summer and join the league when next season starts in September 2020.

A spokesperson for the club said: "We also are delighted to announce a local business has stepped forward to sponsor a new kit for the boys, details to follow. Ben and Ryan will continue to run our U8 Juniors."

The U9 age group will have new manager, Dave Lunn. They will train Saturday mornings 10-11 currently and will then when we move back to sports centre when the clocks change, train Thursday 6-7pm next to the U9 Juniors.

Now we have managers in place we will be recruiting players for this age group to join the current players that we currently have so we have large enough squads for when we enter the league.

A spokesperson for the club said: "We are still on the lookout for new managers for other age groups but this is a brilliant start. A massive thanks to John and Dave for stepping forward and helping us offer more football to children."
