Ross Juniors U10s played Orelton Blacks at home and continued their winning streak. Ross started pressing early on, finding spaces and passing well.

An early Luca cross was saved off the line and it wasn’t long before Ross got their first with Zak passing neatly to Archie who made no mistake from close range. Luca’s characteristic twisting and turning got him on the score sheet soon after. Archie had a field day marauding down the wings. Dylan, also staying out wide, passed to Zak who turned quickly and slotted in Ross’ third goal.

Archie and Zak teamed up well with multiple one-twos slicing through the Orelton defence only to shoot just wide. Isaac, in goal, got his first touch half way through the first half with a calm save. Toby made numerous bruising blocks of the ball to ensure Orelton didn’t manage to get their forwards into play. A neat flick by Luca from a Toby cross got Ross’ fourth just before half time.

The second half started slowly and never saw the same frenetic pace of the first half. Both Archie and Dylan had close shots, and Thomas and Gabriel mopped up the few Orleton attacks with patience and ease.

Archie got the fifth goal from a very tight angle after a Zak cross and Luca was unlucky to have a late shot saved, palmed over the cross bar.

Isaac continues his fine form in goal with a fourth successive clean sheet.
