Ross Juniors U11 Girls are going from strength to strength at the moment.

Last week, in a tense cup semi-final game against Belmont Colts, they won 3-0, which secured them a place in the final at Edgar Street next May.

On?Sunday they played the same side again in a league match on a cold morning at home. Ross won again, 4-0 this time.

Cara scored her first goal for a long time and Ruby (normally playing in goal) came out to play as a forward in the final 10 minutes and scored her first goal ever in a match.

Both sides played brilliantly and enjoyed their football. Striker Scarlett scored the other two Ross goals, which saw the defenders, Violet, Hazel and Amber, working well together at the back.

Midfielders, Jenna, Rebecca, Megan and Alisha passed the ball with style and all had their chances, and they were unlucky not to add to the goal tally.

This is a fairly new team of girls playing together, with some only recently starting to play football. They are all enjoying the matches and looking forward to the rest of the season, especially next May.
