Ross Ladies played Leominster Ladies in the first ever Herefordshire FA Women’s Development League.

Their first game saw Ross come from two behind to draw 2-2, thanks to goals from Megan Price and Megan Dunn.

The Ross Juniors’ women’s section has been going since January 2016 and the team have played many friendly games and tournaments. The team have had great fun doing this and had some good results but have found it challenging at times against well established teams who play regularly together.

This new HFA league though gives the team the chance to pitch themselves against other recently formed women’s teams in a competitive environment.
