Ross U12 Colts put in a battling display on Sunday, January 26th as they made the long trip to Leominster.

In a physical game Ross were made to work hard from the start as they were put under pressure from the hosts.

Halfway through the first half, Ross’ resistance was broken as Leominster finally made their pressure count to go 1-0 up and looked to extend their lead soon after.

Ross woke up five minutes before the break to have a strong spell but a solid Leominster defence kept them out going into half-time.

The second-half once again saw the hosts come out on top and they were soon rewarded for their dominance with a second goal.

Ross left it late to reply with a superb goal from Jess, as she showed great skill to cut inside the defender and place the ball in the bottom corner.

Ross were unable to play their usual passing game against a strong Leominster who held on for a deserved 2-1 win.
