Soccersixes operate a six-a-side league in the area and are offering 11-a-side teams free sponsored training tops for next season, if they play in the six-a-side league through the summer, which will keep players fit and be good fun.
The 11-a-side season is coming to a end and footballers, usually for summer months, play six-a-side matches with their friends to continue playing football.
The six-a-side league currently has two spaces available for new teams to join, and, as Soccersixes try and support the local community, free training tops are being offered to 11-a-side teams for the new season.
Development Director Matt Scoffham commented: “We thought it would be good to support the 11-a-side teams for the next season, and offer local teams training tops. We have some 11-a-side teams currently playing in our leagues under different names as they like to have a laugh with mates, it’s all good fun and good for football in the local area.”
The league is six-a-side, 40 minute matches, with a qualified referee. All equipment is provided and it’s easy to join.
Any 11aside team, or anyone in the local area who wants to set up their own team, can contact Soccersixes on 07581 040860 or register at www.soccersixes.net. There is no entry fee, the players pay on the night for their game.
