Ross Juniors U8 girls made the long trip to Leominster on the morning of Sunday, December 8th for a challenging game in tricky conditions.

As ever, Ross Juniors said that Leominster were fantastic hosts and the girls loved the game. Ross started brightly and grew into the game. The goalies of Josie, Abi and Thea all made great saves. The defence played well and excelled in second half with better shape. A spokesperson for the club said: "Well done to Thea, Lacey, Izzie and Abi. In modelled and attack Mercedes, Mia, Alyce and Isla excelled and created many chances.

"Goals came from Mia (4), Isla and Lacey. Leominster scored some great goals too with a stunning free kick and up the other end the Leominster keeper was superb."
