Ross-on-Wye U10s beat Lads Club Panthers 5-2 to continue their good start to the season.

The hosts were lucky not to go behind early as they lost the ball from the kick off and were almost punished with an early goal. However, once they settled into a rhythm, the home side began to dominate the game.

Theo Roblin opened the scoring for Ross as he was put through by Jake Hedges and rounded the keeper to slot the ball into the net.

The lead did not last as Lads Club equalised shortly after Ross failed to deal with a throw-in.

Two goals in quick succession from Eddie Price and Jake Hedges put Ross 3-1 up.

Ross reasserted their dominance in the second half, scoring an early goal as Theo Roblin rounded the keeper again to roll the ball in.

After missing an earlier chance, Harvey Briscoe beat the keeper with a fine low strike.

The Panthers struck back to make the final score 5-2 with a stunning volley following a corner.
