Ross Juniors Girls Under 10 Colts came so close to winning silverware in their first season, finishing runner up in the Shield following a close fought game with Belmont. The Colts are an under 9 team playing at under 10 level and have been steadily improving throughout the season. In front of a sizable and vocal Ross Juniors support at Edgar Street, the Colts played up to the occasion and put in a fine performance.

Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Colts came out battling in the second half, pulling level through a neatly taken goal. With only 10 minutes left on the clock Belmont re-took the lead, forcing Ross to push players forward chasing the game. Two further last minute goals made the final score 4-1 to Belmont who deserved their victory, but the Colts can be proud of the way they played.

The girls now look forward to summer tournaments and onwards to next seasons under 10 league.
