Ross lost the toss and were put into bat. Ross were soon up against it at 20 for 2 when in came David Warwick who made a quick-fire 30 runs which included 5 fours and 1 six to take the score to 64 for 3. Tom Porter came to the crease and put on 35 which included 2 fours and 3 sixes and with the score 119 for 6, it looked as if Ross would be out for less than 150. Bartestree never recovered and when Tom Porter came on to bowl wickets started to tumble. Tom Porter returned figures of 4 for 24 off 6 overs and Aaron Thorley returned 2 for 13 off 4.3 overs.
Bartestree were all out for 83 giving Ross a 94 run victory.
