The South Herefordshire club’s monthly winter stableford attracted a large entry and was played in excellent conditions.

The highlight of the competition was an unbelievable 43pts by Philip Andrews’ off a handicap of 13. He was a comfortable winner of Division 1 with 2 birdies and 9 pars.

Fred Cook, who had 39pts, was in second place with Brian Folley 37pts in third spot. Division 2 was won by Eric Humm on 35pts, beating Simon Rutter on count back. Tony Haile was in third position on 34pts.
