The South Herefordshire Seniors Christmas Cup attracted 56 entrants. Division 1 was won by Terry Gibson with a stableford score of 40pts, Barry Howells 39pts was in second place followed by Mike Bourne on 38pts.

Ian Fanning won Division 2 with 40pts and Brian Bishop, with 36pts, was runner up and David Williams, with 35pts, was in third place.

At the recent annual prize giving the senior section awards were as follows: SWS Winner for 2017 - Barry Howells, Summer singles champion - Gerry Newman, Summer Pairs Champions - Jeremy Parkes & Peter Sawyer, Spring Cup - Terry Gibson, Garry Martin Trophy - John Wynne
