The South Herefordshire Seniors Summer Shield, played at the SHGC near Ross, attracted 54 entrants and the scores reflected the excellent playing conditions.

The competition was a very close encounter with Keith Field, playing off a handicap of 18, victorious with a stableford score of 40pts. Close behind were four players on 39pts.
