The South Herefordshire seniors lost their return match to Woodlake Park 3.5 to 4.5. The result was in the balance until the last hole of the final match.

It was a very close encounter with six of the matches being decided on the last hole. In achieving the double, Woodlake Park became the first team to record a win there this season.

The results were as follows: Wins for Peter Sawyer and Peter Wilson 3&2 and Keith Nind and Richard Hammett 7&6. Barry Howells and Ray Causon, Geoff Eyres and Tony Haile and Bob Chance and Doug Frape halved their matches. There were losses for Eifion Rees and Jon Davies 2 down, Chris Burgess and David Rippe 2&1 and Malcolm Connah and Gerry Newman 2&1.

The monthly club medal results were as follows: Division 1– 1st James Price 78-8=70, 2nd Chris Burgess 85-13=72, 3rd Robert Gwilliam 86-14=72.

Division 2 – 1st Simon Waring 92-22=70, 2nd Peter Hunter 104-34=70, 3rd Eric Humm 99-25=74.
