As his highly effective year as Ross Golf Club Captain moves towards its final days, Warren Moore fittingly received support from all sections for his annual Charity fundraising day, with 29 teams of four players each taking part in an 18 holes stableford competition.
With three scores to count on each hole and playing conditions set fair, Warren’s team, which also included Matt Hillier, Tim Wyatt and Joe Irvine, were able to move from the back of the field as finishers to the front of the prize-winners rostrum as winners with a remarkable 126 points total. Runners up, with 122 points, were James Berry, Kevin Croft, Nick Ellis and Tim Kefalas and in third place were previous year’s Club Captain Clive Whitson, Robin Henderson-Pugh, Jon Morgan and Danny Gear.
Members were also warmly thanked by Warren for their financial support with £560 being added to his year’s fundraising initiatives, where the ultimate beneficiaries will be disadvantaged young people.
