Ross-on-Wye’s Golf Club’s latest 2015 men’s major was won by Tim Wyatt, with David Whitehead taking best nett handicap prize.
With 108 members taking part in the Autumn scratch and handicap medal, Tim Wyatt stood out with a gross round of 73.
David Whitehead’s nett of 67 was enough to give him the nett handicap player of the day prize.
Tim Wyatt shot a gross of 73, with 2 birdies and just one shot dropped to par, which will come close to being his best competition medal round ever, and will be remembered for his playing of the back 9 holes in gross level par.
Tim continues his excellent season, in which he has been an integral member of the Club’s A team which has gained promotion to the Gloucestershire County Foursomes Division 1 in 2016.
For 13 handicapper David Whitehead, who was Seniors Champion in 2014, his gross 80 nett 67 made him the best nett handicap player of the day.
