The Annual Pro-Am Medal qualifier competition, the largest Pro-Am National event in the UK, which is sponsored by the Lombard Financial Group, is always a popular event, as it provides the winner with the opportunity to play in a Regional Competition in June with his Club Professional.

On this day, good scoring was reflected in the standard scratch, being 73 against its normal par 72. 93 men members took part, and 18 handicapper, Tim Fewell from Ross Golf Club delivered one of his best rounds ever.

His nett 69 score means that he has earned a day partnering Head Professional Tim Hall at the prestigious Burnham and Berrow Golf Course in Somerset.

Tim Fewell’s game has been in good shape recently, as evidenced by his consistency in the Club’s weekly Tuesday evening nine holes Eclectic competitions, and when taking part in the Club’s Seniors events.
