Having completed four of their six winter league fixtures in Division 4 West, the Goodrich Ladies ’A’ Team has registered wins against Whitecross, Manor Park ’D’, Worcester ’C’ and Worcester ’D’, dropping just one rubber on the way. Hopefully the partnerships of Cheryl/Jill, and Bonnie/Wendy can continue their run of good form in 2017.

The ’B’ Team, playing in Division 5 West following promotion last year, have played just the one match so far, away to Woolhope ’B’. Although they had a losing draw, it was a very closely contested match with just two games separating them. A special mention must be made of Rosemary who was playing her first match, ably supported by Kirsten, the other pairing being Carolyn and Lesley.

Goodrich Tennis Club will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Thursday, December 8th at 7.30pm, at the Godrich Hall, Goodrich.
