The Goodrich ’B’ashers finally completed their Winter matches, away to Ledbury ’B’, on Sunday, April 8th, a fixture that had been rescheduled several times due to the snow and rain.

Cath Hutchinson and Rachael Wintle won both their rubbers in fine style, 6-0/6-0 and 6-0/6-1, with Jill Brown and Kirsten Ainsworth hot on their heels with wins of 6-1/6-1 and 6-2/6-0.

This means the ’B’ashers have finished top of Division 5 of the H & W Winter league, having won all of their matches, with a total of 68 points out of 70, and 68 rubbers for and two against - quite an achievement for the ’B’ashers.

The ladies are now looking forward to the challenge of playing Division 4 tennis next Winter.
