On Sunday, January 14th, Goodrich Ladies ’Chasers, travelled to Woolhope to play their ’C’ team in Division 6 West of the H & W Winter League, hoping to maintain their position at the top of the league table.

Chasers first pair, Kim Martin and Kirsten Mathews, won their first rubber 6-3 / 6-1, whilst second pair, Sue Harley and Carolyn Riddell, who took a little longer to get into their stride, were also successful, winning 7-5 / 6-1.

In the second rubber it was another win for Kim and Kirsten, 6-0 / 6-1, with Sue and Carolyn following suit with a 6-2 / 6-1 win. On Saturday, January 20th, Goodrich Chasers will play host to Hallow ’C’ in their penultimate match.
