Goodrich Ladies ’A’ Team secured top spot in the Hereford and Worcester League Division 4 West with a match to spare!

The ladies had a comprehensive win against Hallow ’A’ on Sunday, winning all four rubbers and picking up maximum points. The team consisted of Jill Brown and Cheryl Mordecai as first pair, and Bonnie Palmer and Wendy Jenkins as second pair.

However, as you can see from the photo, Wendy, the ’A’ Team Captain, is not letting the ladies open the “celebration fizz ” until after the last match of the season, which is away to Ledbury ’B’ on Sunday, 12th February.
