Following on from last week’s narrow loss against Ludlow Castle, this week the Goodrich Ladies ‘B’ team celebrated their first win of the season with a fine performance against Kempsey ‘B’ at home, winning three rubbers to one.

Kirsten Ainsworth and Kim Martin picked up both their rubbers, with Carolyn Riddell and Sue Harley winning one rubber and narrowly losing their second in the final set tie break.

This result lifts the team up to a respectable fourth in Herefordshire and Worcestershire Division 5, with half the matches still to be played. As you can see from the photo, the ladies were very pleased with a fine result.
