The Ladies Section ventured out onto the Par 3 Academy Course on a drizzly November day. It was a shotgun start Stableford competition with secret scoring holes to add to the fun.

After the competition the ladies gathered for the AGM. At this point Lady Captain, Lynn Relph presided for the last time before she handed over the reins to Mary Sullivan, the incoming Lady Captain, with Debbie Griffiths as Ladies Vice Captain. Presentations were made including a prize for the morning's competition to the new Lady Captain.

The ground staff were congratulated for keeping the course in superb condition despite bad weather conditions and the chef and bar staff were thanked for all their help.

The proprietors Paul Middleton and Sarah Creighton were also thanked for their help and improvements made to the course since taking over three years ago.

After the AGM a lovely meal was enjoyed by all.
