LOCAL superbike rider Luke Jones was at Knockhill, Scotland over the weekend riding in the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship on his Triumph 675.

Luke had qualifying on Saturday morning. He had a good session and finished seventh overall which put him on the third row of the grid.

For his first race in the afternoon the race started well for Luke which was run over 12 laps. Fourth, after the first lap, and then into third for six laps, before dropping a place to fourth at the finish of the race with a time of 10:06.792 – a mere 0.144 behind Luke Stapleford in third.
