Members of Herefordshire Fencing Club excelled in all the categories at the recent Hereford & Worcester County Championships in Redditch.

Highlights were first places for Alex Cupper in the under 10 boys' foil and epee; Ellis Shepherd in the u12 boys' foil; Will Hayden in the u14 boys' foil; Sophie Townsend, who is from Ross, in the Senior Women's Foil and Daniel Robinson, who is also from Ross, in the Senior Men's Foil; Eleanor Kewin in the u16 girls' epee; Roland McMorren in the Senior Men's epee.

HFC coach Dan Robinson emerged as Master at Arms after his win in the foil, second place in sabre and third in epee, and the Herefordshire club achieved a clean sweep of first, second and third places in the senior team epee.
