Two Herefordshire riders helped their team to first place at the Schools Equestrian Games in Oxfordshire recently.

Thirteen-year-old Evie Lawson and 12-year-old Lucinda Chinn, who both live near Ross-on-Wye, led Monmouth School for Girls to top spot in the team event.

They were joined in the team by fellow Monmouth pupils, Bibi Zijlmans, aged 12, from Mitcheldean and 11-year-old Jessica Broome.

Bibi also topped the 80cms individual class and has qualified for the Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships taking place at Broadway, Worcestershire, in October.
