It was ‘High Fives’ all round on Sunday, April 22nd, as Goodrich Ladies secured a clean sweep in the first of their three matches in the ‘LTA Team Tennis Competition’.

Cheryl Mordecai secured a comfortable 6-1/6-2 win against the Droitwich B first lady, followed by an equally comfortable win by Steph Howell against their second lady, 6-0/6-1.

When Cheryl and Steph teamed up together for the doubles, they lost only four games, running out winners with a 6-3/6-1 score line. With all 6 points secured, they now hand over to some of their other Goodrich team members to compete against Bromsgrove and Redditch next month. A fine start, very well played.
