On Saturday Howle Hill travelled to Woolaston, with both teams winning last week it looked like being a tough game for the visitors. Hill started the game calmly and with control, retaining the ball well and using both wings effectively, which paid off after 15 minutes with James O'Brien providing Phin Parsons, who hit a low hard left foot effort under the Woolaston keeper to give Hill the lead.

Hill kept the tempo up, playing the ball out the back with Rob McAfee and record signing Leighton Hall pushing forward at all times, while the defensive rocks of centre back pairing Ali Jones and Ben Williams dealing with any long balls that Woolaston threw at them. The second goal came after 30 minutes after some one touch passes down the right between Tom Shotton and the busy Jake Jarrett, with Shotton crossing to the back post where Bobby Hatch ended his goal drought by directing the ball across the goal into the far corner. Woolaston's only chance of the game hit the cross bar and flew up into the air with keeper Cooke looking around. Luckily Ali Jones was alert to put it behind for a corner.
