Ross Juniors Sunday team drew away at Vaga 4-4 after a game in which they were very fortunate to grab a share of spoils at the end. And one team member had to be taken to hospital after an horrific injury to his mouth.
Ross started the game turbo charged and could had been 3-0 up within the first 15 minutes. But all they had to show for their dominance was a one goal lead.
This came in the 11th minute when George Selwyn Jones blasted the ball home into the roof of the net from 12 yards after the Vaga keeper spilled Damon Beaumont's powerful shot.
Either side of this goal chances went begging with the Davies brothers going close and the miss of the day when Damon Beaumont missed the target from a yard out.
The hosts started to get back in the game and they fired a warning shot when a free kick, from 22 yards out, was brilliantly tipped over the bar from keeper Alex Goode.
Then in the space of 5 minutes Ross found themselves 2-1 behind as Vaga made their visitors Ross pay for many missed chances.
