Seventeen-year-old Amberley Nash has more in common with her beloved horse Sapphire May than a will to win in the showjumping ring. They both suffer with asthma and Amberley said:?"It is always difficult after a competition when we both have to use our inhalers." Sapphire May, who is 13, was diagnosed with asthma last September, just after winning a silver medal at the Championships of Great Britain. Last week was the first time she has taken part in a competition since then. Amberley was delighted to have won the Championship £80 prize which included a sash for the fastest time in a showjumping class at Tack Farm Events Centre at Ullingswick.
