Another strong all round performance from Ross Juniors under 14s saw them achieve their second win in a row.
The home team started well with Shaun firing against the bar in the first minute, but despite repeated attempts the Shrewsbury defence held firm. Soon it was Ross who were under pressure as the visitors broke through on goal with only a superb save from Josh saving the home team's blushes.
The Juniors opener came from a fine move down the right wing from Matt who crossed to Luke who headed past the Shrewsbury keeper, but the lead lasted less than two minutes as the Shrews scored an excellent equaliser after a well-worked passing move. With the scores level at half-time it was anyone's game, but after the break Ross emerged the better team with Freddie rock solid in defence and Tommy looking lively in attack.
