On Saturday Ross Juniors welcomed top of the table and unbeaten Westfields to the sports centre in the Herefordshire Premier League, in tough weather conditions Ross came away with an impressive 3 - 0 victory with goals from Andrew Densley, Aidan Cook and Jack Bray.

Manager Dan Morris had to make a last minute change to their line up when Dave Taylor injured his back in the warm up so Geraint Williams came into the back line. The game was played in appalling weather conditions with Ross playing into the gale force wind in the first half. This made it difficult for Ross to play any football and the back three of Davies, Williams and Burford had to be alert to make several vital interceptions, anything they missed was expertly dealt with by Roberts in goal. Although Ross were forced into lots of defending in the first half they looked the more likely to score with Hall, Cook and Moreton linking up well on several occasions, Ross were relieved to get into half time with the scores level.
